WHAT IS ALKALINE WATER?
Alkaline water is the opposite of acidic water, and it has a higher pH than plain water.
pH stands for the potential of hydrogen and is a scale from 0 – 14. 7 is considered neutral, everything below 7 is acidic and everything above 7 is alkaline. The pH scale is logarithmic meaning, it works in multiples of 10. An example of this is pH 8 is 10 times more alkaline than 7, 9 is 100 times and 10 is 1000 times more alkaline than 7.
